बोदाढी गांव बिहार के रोहतास जिला में स्थित एक प्रसिद्ध गांव है। यह गांव भूमिहार समुदाय के लिए जाना जाता है और यहाँ की मुख्य आजीविका खेती है। इस गांव में धान और गेहूं की फसलें प्रमुखता से उगाई जाती हैं।
कृषि और सिंचाई
इस गांव में खेती ही आजीविका का मुख्य स्रोत है। यहाँ के किसान धान और गेहूं की प्रमुख फसलें उगाते हैं। इसके अलावा, रवि फसल में चना, मसूर और कुछ अन्य फसलें भी उगाई जाती हैं। हालाँकि, बारिश की कमी के कारण कभी-कभी खेती प्रभावित हो जाती है।
गांव में अधिकतर सिंचाई की अच्छी सुविधा है, लेकिन कुछ ऐसे क्षेत्र भी हैं जहाँ सिंचाई के लिए पानी की कमी बनी रहती है। गांव के पास ठोरा बाबा नाम की नदी बहती है, जिसमें बारिश के मौसम में दावत से नहर के माध्यम से पानी आता है।
नदी और पर्यावरण समस्या
पहले इस नदी में मछलियों की भरपूर संख्या थी, लेकिन समय के साथ प्रदूषण और लापरवाही के कारण यहाँ मछलियों की संख्या काफी कम हो गई है। इसका एक बड़ा कारण यह भी है कि कुछ ग्रामीण इस नदी में कूड़ा-कचरा फेंक देते हैं, जिससे पानी प्रदूषित हो गया है। अप्रैल-मई के महीने में नदी का पानी सूख जाता है, जिससे जल संकट उत्पन्न हो जाता है।
सामाजिक संरचना
बोदाढी गांव में भूमिहार समुदाय की संख्या अधिक है। गांव में दो टोला (मोहल्ले) हैं:
